My Shepherd

..."The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want..." That's where we left off with my last post.  Is The Lord really  my shepherd?  Or do I just trust that He will supply my needs? Well, It's now been over a year since Paige and I began this journey of trusting Him with our financial provisions with me resigning from my full time job as Youth Pastor.  Although, in some ways we've been trusting Him with that for over 8 years (our entire marriage).  It's just in the last year, it's become much more of a day to day trusting. But that still leaves the question: do we have Him as our shepherd? Well let me bring you into the past week of our lives. Life has been great, kids have been great, ministry at church has been great, everything has been amazing!  We have been doing alright financially and medically...not much more you could ask for! Then suddenly we find out that we are going to have to add a couple hundred dollars into our budget expenses each ...
